I've discovered that there are entire forums devoted to motorcycle seat cushions. People get into heated debates about what brand is best to keep your butt comfy. We certainly live in a weird world.
What's even weirder is that the average motorcycle is only ridden a little over 1,000 miles per year, and you can imagine that the long distance riders are making up for a lot of machines rotting in garages. For those sad bikes, it is our responsibility to ride a little longer and drag up the average, but no one wants to get a pain in the rear doing it.
Airhawk's medium cruiser cushion is well spoken of by riders who have found comfort with it on their long trips. While foam cushions can pack down and become hard on pressure points, and gel just moves away from where you need it, the independent air cell design of Airhawk's cushion distributes your weight evenly. Time and vibration won't cause it to go flat, and the cells are separated, allowing airflow between and preventing sweat on your seat.
The Airhawk cushion will stop numbing associated with reduced blood-flow and the pain you get when you stand up and all that blood is free to move again. The rubberized construction is waterproof, and the cover has mesh on the sides to let in the air. Straps hold it in place, and the 2-year warranty keeps it in use.
These work well for all shapes and sizes of posterior. By far, this is a superior cushion technology, which is why I find the by-mouth inflation a little odd. We all know where that cushion is going to be spending a lot of time; give a girl a pump.
