Riding down a long stretch of freeway can be tiring, and one part of the body that can suffer is the wrists. Holding the throttle steady for long periods can really take a toll on your wrists, and if you have any kind of complication such as arthritis, tendonitis, or fibromyalgia, then it's just downright painful.
The CrampBuster Throttle Cruise Assist is a simple invention that works on the same principle as an oil filter wrench. You pull the clasp open and snap it onto the outside of your throttle grip. It then rotates clockwise, taking the throttle with it. When you rotate
it up, simply by rolling forward, you slow down. When you rotate down, you pull the throttle open. Your wrist lays on the flat part that is extended out, and you no longer need to maintain steady pressure on the throttle in order to maintain your speed.
What is not mentioned about this product is the fact that it does reduce your reaction time. It's helpful on long freeway hauls, but I would definitely not use it in the city or in the country on twisty roads where you don't know what's around the next bend. They are relatively cheap, so if you want to buy one and try it out, you're not going to feel bad about the investment if you find it doesn't work for you.
