Harley-Davidson's non-branded accessories have an undeniably smooth, classy look. I say "non-branded" because I'm not talking about the products that have the orange, Harley logo. I own an old Honda and I'd hate people to think I lament about not having a Harley.
Aside from my own neurotic brand associations, Harley's Buckshot mirrors are things of beauty. The polished powder-coat black finish lends a subtle quality to the mirror back and stem. These are mirrors, so their purpose is clear, and they will perform their task as well as any other mirror but look better doing it.
The perforated stems stand out because the artist who developed this design took something that is typically dull and functional and turned it into a key feature of style. The holes in the stem emphasize the Buckshot theme with abstracted suggestions of violence. Buckshot mirrors will fit any '82 or later model Harley.
Like many Harley collections, you can buy matching hand and foot controls. The Buckshot Collection comes in polished chrome or the aforementioned black. Small components can completely change the overall look of your machine, and this is why Harley pays so much attention to releasing their accessories in collections. The devil is in the details, as they say.
Here's a set of LED tail lights in a black teardrop housing that match this motif.
