"Essential" is a word I would most often use to describe something that is necessary to survive. Water, I think is a good example of something that is essential to everyday life. Food, of course is another essential, as well as a daily dose of laughter. But, it was unbeknownst to me, however, that the Essential Bar and Shield Neon Clock made by Harley-Davidson, for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, would also fit in that category. I humbly stand corrected.
Seriously though, this clock is pretty cool. If you saw this in someone's garage, you would immediately be drawn to it, like a moth to a bug zapper -- it would trap you with its beautiful blue neon glow. This isn't just a cheap plastic clock, either. Its housing is made from chrome, and the interior is the super accurate Quartz innards, which only uses 1 AA battery. The clock itself measures 12 inches in diameter, and it comes with a Neon Power Adapter/Transformer so you don't have to run the neon through batteries.
This clock could easily take the place of your mounted griffin head in the garage, and would even look good in the living room next to the television, that way everyone who comes over to watch the game can see it, in all its neon glory.
