This is a brand new leather motorcycle face mask. It is a classic face mask, very simple in design. It is basically a long triangle, cowhide leather on the outside and cotton on the inside. Obviously you wear it with the leather side out to protect you from the elements. It is 12 inches long and 26 inches wide. It fastens with an adjustable Velcro strap on the back. It is one size fits all.
If you are really into the old school biker look, go for it. But this mask will do nothing that a good lightweight Neoprene mask can't do, and it comes with a number of drawbacks. It will slide off your face in time as you ride, and eventually your nose and mouth will be exposed and the mask will be bunched up around your chin. It will cause condensation from your mouth to funnel up your face and fog up your eyewear. It will trap your sweat, because leather doesn't breathe and cotton just makes you wet. As the mask slides off your nose, the Velcro in the back will eventually loosen.
These masks are most useful as scarves. Buy a good Neoprene mask in any number of designs, or just plain black, and then buy this leather mask and fasten it around your neck and tuck it into your jacket. It will give you an extra layer of protection for the sensitive thin skin of your neck and chest. But as a face mask, don't bother.
