Sometimes I think I'm cursed. I will forgo my natural instincts to pick up used parts because I want something new, something that shines like the sun itself. New pipes, for instance, are very pretty. So, I get the new toy and am almost finished with the installation when I drop my wrench and put a scratch in the finish. The scratch might be too small for anyone to see, but I will see nothing else for the rest of that part's days.
Vance and Hines 2-into-1 Pro Pipe HS is a beautiful exhaust system. If you have it, I'm sure you care for it well and keep it clean and polished. You ought to since this system costs a pretty penny. That big price tag might even be the first thing that pops into your head when you inadvertently damage the end caps. But sleep easy tonight, because Vance and Hines are not so evil as to let you twist. The end caps are replaceable and for a reasonable cost.
The end cap replacement kit includes that signature billet machined cap, and everything else is self evident. Your muffler system is not really going to sound or look right without every part in its place, so these are not really optional if they're missing or damaged.
Obviously, the end caps are designed for a specific system, so make sure the kit is appropriate for your muffler. You can get these for just over $50, and for goodness' sake, take care of them this time!
